)"DISC" basic function

The "DISC" basic function can be called up by pressing the "DISC/RADIO" function key.
The corresponding basic mask appears. The following information appears on the COMAND display (readable data carrier inserted):

Number of tracks on CD or DVD

-

Current track with elapsed play time

-

Artist (if present on CD or DVD)

-

Application bar with corresponding main menus (top)

-

Function bar with corresponding submenus (bottom)

The various menu structures are made visible on the function bar depending on the audio source selected on the application bar.

When an audio CD/DVD is inserted, the following submenus can be called in the function bar and various settings made:

A track in the track list can be selected using the control buttons on the COMAND controller unit (A40/3) or using the front central operating unit. The
playback position can be altered by sliding and holding the front central operating unit to the right (forward) or left (back).

When a MP3-CD/DVD is inserted, the following submenus can be called in the function bar and various settings made:
