The audio signals are transmitted by the TV combination tuner (analog/digital) to the audio tuner control unit via the MOST. There, the audio signals are
amplified and the stored sound settings are implemented. The amplified audio signals are then forwarded to and output via the respectively installed 
speaker system. The video signals are transmitted via a separate video line to the COMAND controller unit.

The COMAND controller unit transmits the picture data to the COMAND display via a low voltage differential signal (LVDS) interface. The COMAND
display outputs the TV image via the integrated color screen.

Searching and storing stations

In TV mode, the stations can be found and stored using the following functions:

Automatic station search

Station search using list of stations

Station configuration through channel selection

Station selection by entering channels directly

Station selection from station memory

TV mute, function

The volume of the audio signals is turned down or the signals are muted with the aid of an external mute signal (e.g. telephone call). The mute status of
the audio sources is maintained when it was activated before switching off.
