Detection of the wheels on the vehicle in question and management by the TPM system

Detection of wheels and wheel sensors after the start of a journey:

Detects new wheels after a maximum of three minutes at a speed of more than 25 km/h

Detects a missing TPM wheel sensor after a maximum of 10 minutes at a speed of more than 25 km/h

The TPM [RDK] control unit (N88) evaluates the signals from the wheel sensors and stores the corresponding wheel IDs.

Automatic axle assignment after the start of a journey:

Axle assignment of known wheels at a speed of more than 25 km/h (confirmation)

Axle assignment of new wheels within 300 seconds at a speed of more than 25 km/h (e.g. spare wheel fitted)
