Tie Rod End: Service and Repair
Removing And Installing Tie Rod Ball Joint
CAUTION: Installation Replace self-locking nuts

Press tie rod joint out of steering knuckle m

Loosen tapered clamping ring (10f) while holding on hex. shaft

Unscrew tie rod end

Check joint for play and damaged rubber boot.

Replace tie rod ball joint, if necessary
NOTE: The inner joint of the tie rod is permanently connected to the drag link and can therefore only be replaced with the drag link.

Install in reverse order

Check and adjust toe-in at front axle
