After a TELE AID emergency call is triggered (automatically or manually), the D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) generates
an emergency call telegram and transmits it to the service provider (Tegaron company) via mobile telephone (D- net). In the case of an emergency, the
D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) takes over the sole control of the telephone system to ensure the following:

If the telephone is switched off before the emergency alarm is triggered, it is activated.

^

An existing telephone connection is interrupted.

^

The telephone handset (A34) can no longer be operated.

The radio link is established through the telephone system with the aid of the CTEL antenna (A2/22). If the telephone antenna (A2/22) does no longer
function due to an accident, the D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) switches automatically over to the emergency call system
left backup antenna (A2/54) and emergency call system right backup antenna (A2/55). If the power supply is interrupted (e.g., battery interruption), the
D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) switches automatically over to the additional battery (G1/1). The service provider receives
the emergency call. He has a graphic-capable work station with street database. There, among others, the location of the vehicle is determined from the
information of the emergency call telegram. The service provider transmits the decoded emergency call telegram to the responsible service center (e.g.,
police, fire department, German Red Cross).

The emergency call system must be authorized to transmit an emergency call telegram.

After an emergency call has been triggered (automatically or manually) the E-call control module (A35/8) generates an alarm call telegram which is
ultimately sent via CTEL phone to the E-call Center.

In the case of an emergency call, the E-call control module (A35/8) has the sole control of the telephone system, in order to ensure the following:

if the telephone was switched off before the triggering of the alarm call, it must be activated

^

an existing telephone connection is interrupted

^

operation of the telephone with the aid of the portable CTEL (A34/6) is no longer possible.

the phone connection is created via the E-call control module (A35/8) using the phone antenna (A2/22).
If the CTEL antenna (A2/22) is no longer functioning as the result of an accident, the E-call control module (A35/8) switches automatically over to the
emergency call backup antennae (A2/50). The E-CALL center receives the emergency call. For this purpose it is equipped with a graphic-capable work
station with road data base. There, among others, the location of the vehicle is determined from the information of the emergency call telegram. The
E-call center relays the decoded emergency call telegram to the responsible rescue center (police, fire department, etc.).

The emergency call system must be authorized to transmit an emergency call telegram.
