Pressing the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) automatically sends an SMS to the Service Center. The following data are
automatically transmitted in a roadside assistance call:

Vehicle identification data
^
Status data
^
Fault code
MB-Info call function
The service is activated by the user by pressing the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6). If the service is authorized and no service
of a higher order is active, the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) sends an SMS to the Service Center. The following data are transmitted for
this purpose:

Once an emergency call is triggered an emergency call telegram is automatically generated by the E-call control unit (A35/8).
It includes the following information:

Vehicle location
^
Type of emergency call triggering (automatic or manual)

Crash parameters from the restraint systems control unit (N2/7) and the tilting cone sensor (B66)
^
Code number for identifying the vehicle
^
Time of emergency call
The emergency call telegram is passed on to the E-call center via mobile phone.
Up to 3 prepared emergency call telegrams are stored in the E-call control unit (A35/8). If more than 3 emergency call telegrams have already been
stored, then in each case the oldest telegram is overwritten.
