CAUTION: The connecting cable (086b) of the measurement sensor (086a) must point towards the center of the vehicle otherwise a
faulty measurement occurs.
Fit measurement sensor (086a) and save each measured value.

Vehicle level - front axle
NOTE: Vehicle level outside tolerance at front or rear axle.

Adjust vehicle level by changing the springs or spring rubber mounts.

Checking And Adjusting Camber And Caster At Front Axle

Observe general information on chassis alignment check

Check vehicle level at front and rear axles with electronic clinometer and adjust if necessary

Check camber, match with a value in the table

Check caster and assign to tabular value
NOTE: Measurement at 20 degrees wheel angle

Raise vehicle.

Install repair bolt
NOTE: Screw on repair kit nut until it makes contact, but do not tighten yet so that the respective rubber mount of the transverse strut or torque
strut can twist when the suspension deflects.

Re-check vehicle level at front axle after adjusting the camber and caster
NOTE: The vehicle level must correlate with the dimension established on the initial measurement.

Tighten repair kit nut
NOTE: The setting screw must not be turned and must be held to prevent turning when tightening the hexagon nut.
