CLK 320 (209.365) V6-3.2L (112.955) (2004)
Component Identification
The display indicates that the meter is ready to measure angle 5. This angle is no longer measured.
1
Press MEMORY button once. The main menu appears.
2
Press MEMORY button again.
The measured absolute angle is displayed in the memory and the resultant articulation angle 1and articulation angle 2 is displayed.
3
Record resulting articulation angle 1, e.g. +0.26 degrees and articulation angle 2, e.g. +0.58 degrees on the data sheet.
4
Press the STEP button.
Memory display: inclination angles 1 and 2
The stored data appear in the display as the measured absolute angle and the inclination angle 3 calculated from this figure.
5
Record the resultant articulation angle 3, e.g. -0.08 degrees on the data sheet.
Display of memory: inclination angle 3
Component Identification
The articulation angles can be calculated using the difference between the respective measured absolute angles.
Front articulation angle (1):
Transmission to front propeller shaft Center articulation angle (2):
Front propeller shaft to rear propeller shaft Rear articulation angle (3):
Rear propeller shaft to rear axle center assembly]
All inclination angles should be as close as possible to the center of the relevant tolerance range.
