Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair
Removing and installing condenser
NOTE: In the event of malfunctions to the air conditioning, resulting from leakage, contamination or icing up always install new receiver/drier when
replacing or repairing A/C compressor.

Drain air conditioning (recycle), evacuate, charge, check for leakage
CAUTION: Add quantity of compressor oil evacuated to refrigeration circuit when charging air conditioning.

Remove bottom engine compartment paneling

Unscrew refrigerant lines (1 and 2) from connector

Line, Compressor to condenser: 22 N.m
-
Line, Condenser to receiver/drier: 17 N.m

Loosen nut (3) and unhook connector from holder upward

Remove right air duct (5)

Remove left air duct (6)

Unclip retaining clips (7)
NOTE: 2 each.

Unscrew screw (8)
NOTE: 4 each.

Unscrew screw (9)

Unhook hood pull cable from radiator cross member and remove radiator cross member

Unscrew screws (arrows) and pivot hydraulic line (10) to side

Unscrew screws (11)

Remove radiator (4) from bottom mounts and push toward engine
NOTE: For better access to condenser.

Remove condenser (12) upward together with lower air duct

Unclip condenser (12) from air duct

Reinstall in opposite order
