Headlamp Range Adjustment Axle Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Front Axle Headlamp Range Adjustment Sensor

Open engine hood

Unscrew nut (6)

Remove right front wheel

NOTE:  The sensor is located in the wheelhouse on the upper right wishbone

Unscrew nut (3) and separate connecting rod from front axle sensor for headlamp range adjustment.

Disconnect electrical connector (5)

Remove front axle sensor (headlamp range adjustment) (A52)

NOTE:  After replacing the front axle sensor for headlamp range adjustment reprogram the zero position with the HHT

Reinstall in opposite order
