Evaporative Shut Valve: Service and Repair

Removing, Installing Shutoff Valve

Removing, installing

DANGER:

-

Risk of explosion from ignition. Risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel. Risk of injury as a result of fuel coming into contact
with skin and eyes.

-

No fire, naked flame or smoking.

-

Pour fuels only into suitable and into appropriately marked containers.

-

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove wheel housing liner
-

Rear left

Disconnect line (arrow) at shutoff valve (Y58/4)

Slacken hose clip (82/4) and disconnect line (C)

Unclip shutoff valve (Y58/4) at bracket of activated charcoal canister

NOTE:  On-board refuelling vapor recovery ORVR function

Install in the reverse order
