Function

The actuator motors

Fresh air flap and recirculated air flap actuator motor (M2/5),

Left blend air door actuator motor (M2/6),

Activated charcoal filter flap adjustment motor (A32m2)

of the comfort automatic air conditioning housing are actuated by the C-AAC [K-KLA] control and operating module (N22/7) directly via the AC bus.

Integrated into the C-AAC [K-KLA] control and operating module (N22/7) is an output stage, with which the battery voltage for the actuator motors
(M2/5, M2/6, M2/7, M2/8, M2/9, M2/10, M2/11, M2/19, M2/20) and the activated charcoal filter flap adjustment motor (A32m2) can be switched on
and off.

After being switched on, the actual position of the particular flap stored before being shut off is signaled to the actuator motors (M2/5, M2/6, M2/7,
M2/8, M2/9, M2/10, M2/11, M2/19, M2/20) and the activated charcoal filter flap adjustment motor (A32m2).

During the regulation, the C-AAC [K-KLA] control and operating module (N22/7) cyclically transmits a specified value to the actuator motors (M2/5,
M2/6, M2/7, M2/8, M2/9, M2/10, M2/11, M2/19, M2/20) and the activated charcoal filter flap adjustment motor (A32m2) via a dedicated address. This
then decides accordingly on the direction of rotation and moves automatically to the desired position. The comfort AAC control and operating module
(N22/7) signals its current position in response to every cyclic request for the specified value. The C-AAC [K-KLA] control and operating module
(N22/7) compares the received actual values with the specified values and recognizes whether an actuator motor is located at its specified position or is
still moving (relevant when switching off the ignition for saving the actual position

To protect the actuator motors (M2/5, M2/6, M2/7, M2/8, M2/9, M2/10, M2/11, M2/19, M2/20) and the activated charcoal filter flap adjustment motor
(A32m2) and to prevent incremental losses, these remain stationary if an undervoltage or overvoltage is detected. If the voltage has normalized again, the
requested specified position is approached again automatically.
