- with CODE (352) COMAND operating and display system
- with CODE (353) Audio 30 APS
- with CODE (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio
- with CODE (527) COMAND APS (with navigation)

DANGER:

Risk of explosion from gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury from caustic burns to
eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

-

Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers

Connect quiescent current retention device

See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

3.1 Detach roof trim and place down to the front
3.2 Remove tailgate window
3.3 Remove rear window

Take plug connection of GPS antenna out of fixture of right C pillar

Disconnect connector (3)

Unclip right cable guides (1) and take out cable (2)

Use assembly wedge to detach GPS antenna (A2/23) from rear window

CAUTION:
-

Do not damage rear window.

-

Carefully heat the repair area using a hot-air blower.

Remove adhesive residues from rear window

Remove adhesive pad and adhesive residues on underside of GPS antenna (A2/23)

NOTE:  Installation: When sticking on GPS antenna ensure that it is placed on the rear window immediately after removing the protective foil
