Wrap the brown wire and black wire together with electrical tape starting 30 mm (A, Figure 6) from the connector (B, Figure 6) for the trunk lid
microswitch back 1 600 mm (C, Figure 6).

15.

Secure the newly-made wiring harness with wire ties to the existing wiring harness running along the trunk lid behind the trunk lid lock.

Route the new wiring harness up through the cable passage (A, Figure 7) between the trunk and trunk lid.

17.

Continue running the new wiring harness into the opening (B, Figure 7) at the bottom, left of the trunk lid and out the opening (C, Figure 7) above.

18.

Continue running the new wiring harness along the existing wiring harness (A, Figure 8) running up the left side of the trunk lid, into the opening
(B, Figure 8) above, and out the opening (C, Figure 8) for the trunk lid lock.
