Secure the new wiring harness with wire ties (A, Figure 8) to the existing wiring harness running up the left side of the trunk lid

Route the new wiring harness end leading into the trunk and secure it with a wire tie (A, Figure 9) along the existing wiring harness at the left side
of the trunk.
21.
Continue running the new wiring harness to the rear of the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (B, Figure 9).
22.
Connect the brown wire of the new wiring harness to the ground-point (C, Figure 9) rear of the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module.
23.
Connect (Figure 4) the new wiring harness to the microswitch (Figure 2) for the trunk lid lock (Figure 10).
