Paint Damage on Flaps of Soft Top Compartment Lid
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of paint damage on the soft top compartment lid flaps (Figure 1), retighten the cables used to
actuate the flaps per the below steps. Paint damage may occur when the soft top compartment lid flap touches the plastic trim on the soft top
compartment lid guide (Figure 2).
The soft top compartment must be raised with the top stored in the soft top compartment in order to adjust the cables at the linkage flaps (Figure 3).
