Front Seat Backrest Too Stiff / May Cause Noise

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the front seat backrest is sticking, which may cause noise, this may be caused by the
release hook sticking or having excessive resistance. To resolve, perform the following procedure.

1. Remove seat. Refer to WIS document AR91.10-P-1060PB (203) and AR91.10-P-1060Q (209).

2. Remove padding from backrest.

3. Replace backrest frame with improved version.

4. Grease catch (Figure 1) with multipurpose grease (A002 989 07 51).
