AR77.39-P-3700QA Remove/Install Soft Top Bow (Down/Up) Limit Switch

Injury hazard from roll bar extending
-

Before working in the area of the roll bar pull rear head restraints out by hand.

-

Risk of injury. Moving parts can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities.
-

Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.

Cover vehicle in rear area

NOTE:  To prevent scratching the paint during assembly work.

Close soft top

NOTE:  Leave soft top bow and soft top compartment cover in upright position

Unclip safety bolts (4) and remove soft top bow hydraulic cylinder (5).

Lay soft top bow hydraulic cylinder (5) down

NOTE:  To achieve better accessibility to soft top bow limit switch

Separate connector (1)

Unscrew bolt (2)

Unclip soft top bow limit switch (up/down) (S84/15) from soft top bow (3).

Unclip soft top bow limit switch (up/down) (S84/15) from soft top support (6) and remove from vehicle

Install in reverse order
