Because handling is altered by the different tire tread circumferences and wheel offsets, a maximum speed of no more than 80 km/h is permissible.

Component Identification

Fold inner edge of fender upwards 45 degrees in indicated area (B) from upper edge of lateral protective strip to approx. 5 cm above upper edge of
front apron.

An edge roller or plastic mallet must be used to avoid damaging the paint.

Carefully heat outer edges of fender to max. 70 - 80 degrees C using a hot air blower. Repair any damage to the paint.

Press out the wheel cutout by approx. 5 mm in indicated area (B) using edge roller.

Tape fender edges and spray stone shield on reworked area.

When the stone shield has dried seal inner edge with protective wax.

Screw dowel bolt (vehicle tool kit) into the topmost threaded bore in the wheel hub.

Fit AMG light alloy wheel and press onto wheel hub.

Screw in wheel bolts and tighten firmly. The wheel bolts must be dry and free of grease.

Make sure that the wheels are not distorted by tightening the wheel bolts too much on one side ( tighten wheel bolts in a cross pattern in several
passes).

Unscrew dowel bolt and replace with a wheel bolt.

Lower the vehicle.

Tighten wheel bolts evenly in a cross pattern to a torque of 130 Nm.

AMG light alloy wheels must be retightened after a distance of between 100 and 500 km.
