Soft Top Either Slow Opening / Closing, Not Working or Pump Noisy

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles regarding the soft top is either slow opening, slow closing, not working or the pump is noisy,
this may be due to a gradual slow leak of hydraulic fluid from one or more of the sealing plugs (Figure 1) on the hydraulic pump. It is no longer
necessary to replace the pump for this condition. The sealing plugs are now available separately and have been redesigned, the original (Figure 2, 1) and
new (Figure 2, 2) sealing plugs are shown.

NOTE:  

In cases of fluid leak only, do not replace the hydraulic pump. Replace the sealing plug(s) only. All replaced hydraulic pumps solely due to fluid leak
will be debited back to the dealer.
