GF82.20-P-2008QA Trunk Lighting, Function

The left luggage compartment lamp (E18/5) is switched on via the trunk lid contact switch (S88/6) when the trunk lid is opened. The trunk lid contact
switch (S88/6) is read in via the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and then switches on the left luggage compartment lamp
(E18/5).

The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) switches off the left luggage compartment lamp (E18/5) immediately, if the trunk lid
contact switch (S88/6) is detected as being closed. If the trunk lid remains open for longer than 30 minutes, the left luggage compartment lamp (E18/5) is
switched off automatically.
