Procedure
1. Remove and install front axle brake caliper
2. Detach floating caliper (34) from brake caliper carrier (33)
3. Carefully press out piston (47) with compressed-air, if necessary removing piston with piston-turning pliers.
NOTE: A 2-piston floating caliper is installed in models 202.033/093, model 210.072 with CODE 957 E 50 AMG 210.074/274.

If piston (47) is seized with rust, replace floating caliper (34).
4. Remove dust cap (45) from floating caliper
5. Remove piston seal (50) from the groove in the cylinder bore.
6. Check piston (47) and cylinder bore on floating caliper (34). replace, if necessary

7. Remove, replace plastic guide bushing (34f)
8. Assemble in reverse sequence, noting the following:

The floating caliper and repair kit must be from the same manufacturer.

If necessary, assemble piston with pliers

Coat cylinder bore with brake fluid.

Smear new piston seal (50) with brake fluid
-
Put dust cap (45) in an inverted position over piston (47) and insert into the cylinder bore together with the piston.

Push in the piston with both hands.

Ensure correct fit!
