Removal, installation

Disconnect ground lead from battery

CAUTION:  On model 210 insulate the ground lead with cable terminal to prevent unintentional contact between disconnected ground
lead and ground point W10

Remove instrument cluster

Unclip retaining lugs (arrows)

NOTE:  Retaining lugs must catch completely

4.1 Separate housing (64) from electronic board with instruments (65)

NOTE:  On model 202 as of 08/95  ensure that reset knob for trip odometer and adjustment knob for electronic clock are properly positioned.

4.2 Separate housing (64) from electronic board with instruments (65)

NOTE:  On model 208 ensure correct seat of rubber inserts (62)

Remove symbol strips (66) 

NOTE:  On model 202 up to 08/95 pull symbol strips out to side

On model 202 as of 09/95, model and model 210 pull symbol strips out toward bottom

-

On model 208 unclip plastic insert (63) at bottom of instrument cluster housing, pull back slightly and remove symbol strips downward.

NOTE:  When replacing symbol strips pay attention to vehicle equipment

Reinstall in opposite order
