Roll Bar Malfunction Indicator Lamp: Description and Operation

The indicator lamp for the rollbar is integrated into the rollbar switch (convenience, S83) and is activated by the rollbar/soft top operation control
module (N52).

The indicator lamp flashes

-

when the rollbar is in an intermediate position and "engine ON".

The indicator lamp burns continuously

-

After switching on the ignition until the vehicle engine starts running (as function check).

In the event of malfunctions in N52 and malfunctions which could negatively affect the operation of the rollbar.

NOTE:  When the indicator lamp burns continuously always extend the rollbar for safety reasons.
