Repair Materials

1. Remove cartridge from 1-component repair kit and heat in cartridge preheater.

Cartridge heater.

Heating time is approx. 60 minutes.

2. Screw on application nozzle onto cartridge.
3. Insert cartridge into cartridge gun.

Cartridge gun.

The adhesive material can be easily pressed out using a commercially available electric (battery-powered) or pneumatic cartridge gun with piston
rod. Use adapter to completely press out cartridge. Insert adapter between cartridge piston and plate on cartridge gun push rod.

Removal

Remove paneling on outside of A-pillar

NOTE:  Remove paneling on outside of A-pillar only on one side

Lift molding (1) at side with plastic wedge (arrow) and pull out of clip-type fasteners (2, 5 each)

Installation

Install molding (1) on clip-type fasteners (2, 5 each), align at side and press down

Install paneling on outside of A-pillar
