AR80.30-P-4305P Remove/Install Front Door Infrared Remote Control Receiver

DANGER:
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to
skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked
containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Loosen and upper and bottom clip rail of door rubber seal (9)

NOTE:  Loosen door rubber seal (9) in area of door handle (2).

Unscrew screw from door lock cylinder (3)

NOTE:  Screw is secured against falling down.

Screw of Door Handle Of Front Door - 3 N.m

Remove door lock cylinder (3) with left front IR receiver (A26/1)

Disconnect connector (11) from left front IR receiver (A26/1)

Install in the reverse order

Perform basic programming

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

9

Check for proper function
