- with CODE (220a) Parktronic system (PTS)

DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to
skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

-

Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked
containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove rear bumper

3

Unlock connector (3) and disconnect

4

Unlock catches (2) in direction of arrow

NOTE:  The outer sensor units must be released using a suitable tool.

Remove PTS sensor unit (rear bumper) (A43) from bracket

NOTE:  
Installation: Check sealing ring (4) and replace if damaged.

Install in the reverse order

7

Perform basic programming

8

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

9

Check for proper function
