AR68.20-P-2400P Remove/Install Ashtray Housing In Front Center Console

DANGER:
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to
skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-add batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked
containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove cover on shift lever

Press catch lugs (1) back and remove ashtray housing (2)

Disconnect front ashtray illumination (E9/7) connector from ashtray housing (2)

Remove ashtray housing (2)

Install in the reverse order

Perform basic programming

NOTE:  Only if no quiescent current retention device has been used.

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

Check for proper function.
