AR83.10-P-2008Q Remove/Install Actuator For Left and Right Footwell Flaps

- without CODE (581b) Convenience automatic air conditioning

DANGER:

Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury with caustic
burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

-

Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove instrument panel bracket

Remove suspension

NOTE:  Suspension upstream of actuator motor assembly.

Unscrew bolts (1)

NOTE:  Three bolts.

Remove left and right footwell flap actuator motors (M2/15)

Detach coupling (3)

Install in the reverse order

Normalize left and right footwell flap actuator motors (M2/15)

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

10

Perform basic programming.
