Remove both trim rings (1)

CAUTION!
Carefully pry off trim rings (1). Avoid damaging instrument panel.

Loosen covering (2) and take out

CAUTION!
Avoid damaging instrument panel.

Unscrew bolts (3)

Unlatch catch lugs (4) in air nozzle duct

NOTE:  
Removal:  Pull out air nozzle (5).

See Special Tools below

Take out air nozzle (5)

Install in the reverse order

7

Perform function check

NOTE:  Flap of air distributor must open and close completely.
