Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

AR30.12-P-1321P Remove/Install Accelerator Pedal

Remove/Install

Remove plug (1)

Unscrew nut (2)

NOTE:  Installation: Replace nut (2).

Pull out accelerator pedal (3)

NOTE:
-

The accelerator pedal (3) must not be disassembled.

Installation: Ensure, that the recess of the accelerator pedal is seated in the bracket (4) of the firewall.

Separate electrical connector of accelerator pedal sensor (B37)

NOTE:  Installation: ensure that lines are routed properly.

Separate electrical connector from kickdown switch (S16/6)

NOTE:  Installation: ensure that lines are routed properly.

Remove accelerator pedal (3)

Install in the reverse order

Read out DTC memory
