Component Identification

The multifunction steering wheel, used in combination with the instrument cluster (A1), serves to increase active driving safety in road traffic.
The driver can concentrate on the traffic without distraction when controlling and operating various vehicle components. The multifunction steering
wheel allows the driver to operate and query the following systems:

Radio and navigation

Interior lights

Trip computer

ASSYST

^

Distronic

^

Telematics

^

Telephone

^

Tire pressure loss warning

Circuit 15 ON

Only systems and functions with which the vehicle is equipped are displayed. If a system is not installed, it is "skipped" when the system selection
button (S110s3) on the left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110) is pressed.

The system selected by the user is displayed on the multifunction display (A1p13) in the instrument cluster (A1). In addition, the fanfare horns (H2) can
be actuated by means of the impact plate of the multifunction steering wheel.

Only the trip computer has a last-mode function. When the user switches to this system, the basic display is not shown; instead, the system displays the
submenu that was last selected.

Left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110)

In system selection button (S110s3) and Scroll forward and backward buttons (S110s1) are included in the left multifunction steering wheel button group
(S110).
Each of the systems can be called up with the system selection button (S110s3). This button is used to scroll forward and backward in the systems.
Use the Scroll forward/back button (S110s1) to call up additional submenus within a system.
