Rear Knuckle: Testing and Inspection

Measuring Wheel Carrier (removed)

Remove/install wheel carrier

Place wheel carrier for measurement with the wheel hub or brake disc on parallel supports

Measure and note height dimension "A" as comparative measurement with the height marking device (025)

Measure and note height dimension "B1-B3" at the lowest point of the corresponding bore

NOTE:  The test values are calculated from the difference between height dimension "A" and the height dimensions:
-

"B1" = thrust arm mounting

"B2" = tie rod mounting

-

"B3" = torque strut mounting
