skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked
containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove left front road wheel

Remove inner liner in front fender
NOTE: Left, front and center fender liner.

Pull filler neck (2) out of washer fluid reservoir (1)

Unplug connectors (3, 4, 5)

Detach and seal hoses
CAUTION!
Careful, risk of cracks and fracture!
NOTE: Collect escaping window washer fluid in a suitable container.

Unclip clamp (6)

Expose cables and hoses

Unscrew the screws (7).

Take off washer fluid reservoir (1)

Remove heater
