Engine Oil Level Or Engine Oil Condition Has Dropped To A Critical Level

This message is faded in if

-

the oil level has dropped to a critical level or

-

the condition of the oil has deteriorated through, for instance, ingress of water.

Oil Measuring System Defective

This message is faded in if there is a fault in the oil system e.g. defective oil sensor (oil level, temperature and quality, B40).

Oil Level Messages At Driver's Request

NOTE:  "Please switch on ignition"

This message will be displayed on oil level call-up if the ignition has not been switched on.
