Steel Valve Caps on Vehicles with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
Important Information
On all vehicles equipped with direct reading TPMS systems, that is with wheel pressure sensors, and their corresponding aluminum valve stems; it is not
advisable to install steel or chrome valve stem caps as the subsequent electrolysis may make it impossible to remove the valve cap at a later time. Such
damage is not covered by warranty.
