Remove

DANGER:

-

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury suffered in the form of bruises or burns to the
hands when reaching in while the engine cranks or runs

-

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving off by itself.

-

Wear closed and close-fitting work clothes.

-

Do not grasp hot or rotating parts

Park vehicle on a horizontal surface

Open engine hood

Break plate (93b) off locking pin (93a) using a suitable tool

Press out pin remaining in the cap (93) downwards

Remove cap (93)

Fill with transmission oil

NOTE:  When first filling or after an oil change, add only approx. 5 L of transmission oil before starting the engine.

Start engine and allow to idle in selector lever position" P"

Top up with the rest of the specified quantity of oil

When first filling or after an oil change.

Shift through the driving stages several times with the vehicle stationary and the engine idling

NOTE:  Apply service brake.

Read off transmission oil temperature

NOTE:
-

Apply service brake. Move selector lever to position "R" or "D".

Check transmission oil level

CAUTION:  Move selector lever to position "P". Insert oil dipstick as far as the stop, pull out again, read off oil level and repeat if
necessary. The correct oil level should be measured at a transmission oil temperature of 80 degree C.

NOTE:  At a transmission fluid temperature of 25 degree C, the fluid level must be within the range "A". At a transmission fluid temperature of 
80 degree C, the fluid level must be within the range "B".
