2. Deactivate short stroke lowering; for this purpose remove left door contact switch (S17/3), right door contact switch (S17/4).
3. Remove rubber grommets on bolts (2, 3).
4. Slacken bolts (2, 3).

5. Slide rear side window (1) downward and toward rear.

6. Slide rear side window (1) upward and toward front until top edges (4) of rear side window and door window are flush.
7. Simultaneously adjust gap between door window (5) and rear side window (1) to dimension (c) at bottom and dimension (d) at top.
8. Tighten bolts (2, 3). [Nm]
9. Lower rear side window (1) and move up.

10. Check gap pattern, correct if necessary.

The wedge-shaped gap is intentional to compensate for soft top settling.

11. Tighten bolts (2, 3), install rubber grommets on bolts (2, 3)
12. Activate short stroke lowering; for this purpose install left door contact switch (S17/3), right door contact switch (S17/4).
13. Plug in connector for left door contact switch (S17/3), right door contact switch (S17/4).
