CLK 63 AMG (209.377) V8-6.3L (156.982) (2008)
if the outside air is dry. The other flaps can be operated manually.
During the transition from cooling mode to heating mode (mode change), the left footwell flap actuator motor (M2/10) and the right footwell flap
actuator motor (M2/11) begin to open the footwell flaps.
The condensation water is led to the outside condensation water drain.

Recirculated air mode OFF
Function
In the normal mode (AC OFF lit up), fresh air (A) is drawn in by the blower motor (A32m1) as a result of the position of the fresh air/ recirculated air
flaps actuator motor (M2/5). The air, which is purified by the dust filter (1), is conducted as a result of the position of the activated charcoal filter flap
adjustment motor (A32m2) through the two activated charcoal filters (2) and passes through the cooled evaporator (3), is dried there and cooled. Then
some of the dried and cooled air (B) is heated up again due to the position of the left blending air flap actuator motor (M2/6) and the right blending air
flap actuator motor (M2/7) in the heated heater heat exchanger (4).
The remainder of the dried and cooled air is diverted past the heating system heat exchanger (4) and is blended with the heated air (C) to form blended
air (D) downstream of the heating system heat exchanger (4).
The mixed air (D) is conducted to the air outlets, due to the position of the left defroster vent flap actuator motor (M2/8) and the right defroster vent flap
actuator motor (M2/9), the left footwell flap actuator motor (M2/10), the right footwell flap actuator motor M2/11), the left fresh air flap actuator
(M2/19) and the right fresh air flap actuator (M2/20):
-
Footwell Open
-
Vent nozzles Open
-
Defroster nozzles restricted
-
Other flaps can be operated manually
The cooled air (B) is also diverted immediately downstream of the evaporator (3) for indirect ventilation, which is controlled by the cold air addition
wheel at the center vent.
