Wiper Arm Test And Adjustment Values

The adjustment of the angle of incidence of the driver-side wiper arm and passenger side wiper arm is always done in parked position, and only if the
test values deviate from the tolerance range in reverse position or in parked position and reverse position. In the process, the angle of the driver-side
wiper arm or passenger side wiper arm is adjusted by at least the value of the tolerance deviation in reverse position.
Use adjuster lever (Z4) from the adjustment tool set.
In right-hand drive vehicles, the signs of the corresponding test and adjustment values have to be changed.

Install choke angle gauge (A) with adapter on wiper arm to be adjusted.

Lower wiper arm until all three contacting points of the choke angle gauge foot (A) touch the windshield.

Put adjuster lever (Z4) as far apart as possible on this wiper arm.

The angle of the wiper arm is adjusted with the aid of the , which was positioned close to the adjuster lever (Z4) choke angle gauge (A). The
second adjuster lever (Z4) is used as a counterholder.
