Unscrew bolts (2).

2.

Open stowage compartment (3) in front center console (1) and remove insert (4)

3.1. Unclip portable CTEL bracket (5) from stowage compartment (3) by hand

On vehicles with
Code (386) Preequipment for CTEL telephone, UPCI system
or
Code (388) CTEL telephone, UPCI system or
Code (494) USA version or
Code (498) Japanese version

4.1. Unclip electrical connectors (6) from eyeglass compartment (7) and lay portable CTEL bracket (5) down to side

On vehicles with
Code (386) Preequipment for CTEL telephone, UPCI system
or
Code (388) CTEL telephone, UPCI system or
Code (494) USA version or
Code (498) Japanese version

5.1. Unclip eyeglass compartment (7) from stowage compartment (3) with suitable screwdriver and lay down to side

Unscrew bolts (8).

Fasten in opposite order

The locations in the following work description refer to the stowage box cover (1) installed from the left side Initial position for installing stowage box
cover (1) illustrated as in figure: Upper button (2) and lower button (3) are "locked" in position. The upper set-up retainer (4) and lower set-up retainer
(5) are extended

1.1. Press lock-up button (6) and press upper set-up retainer (4) and release

When the upper set-up retainer (4) is pressed and the upper button (2) is in the "locked" position

2.1. Press lock-up button (6) and press lower set-up retainer (5) and release

When the lower set-up retainer (5) is pressed and the lower button (3) is in the "locked" position
