AR88.30-P-1000-03TX Prepare Body Flange For Gluing In Spare Wheel Well

Repair Materials

1. Cut remaining glue off of body flange with multi-cutter and cutting blade.

A maximum of 2 mm of glue residue may be left. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).

2. Clean painted adhesive surface on body flange with cleaning rag from cleaning set (BETACLEAN 3300) of 2-component glue set and dry with

drying cloth included in cleaning set.

3. If remaining glue on body flange is missing, apply primer (BETAPRIME 5061) from gluing set in area to be glued

Allow primer to air-dry for min. 10 minutes.

4. Repair paint damages on body flange not covered by glue with primer pin.

In order to prevent adhesion faults when gluing in the spare wheel recess, the adhesive surfaces of the body flange must be free of dust, oil, grease,
wax and other dirt particles.
