Component Identification

Location

The blower motor is on the right beneath the glove compartment, in the A/C housing.

Task

The blower motor delivers fresh air or interior air into the vehicle interior through the A/C housing.

Function

Depending on the blower stage:

the AAC control and operating unit (N22) (without code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning) or

^

the comfort AAC (C-AAC) control and operating unit (N22/7) (with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning)

transmits a control signal to the blower regulator (A32n1) via the local interconnect network (LIN).
The blower regulator then regulates the blower motor operating voltage depending on the control signal
