Seat Cushion Rocks When Braking and Accelerating or Makes a Cracking Noise

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the front of the seat cushion rocks when braking and accelerating or makes a cracking
noise, this may be caused by excessive clearance for the stepped bolt. To resolve, install replacement bolts with an 0-ring which are available as spare
parts for seats with the height adjustment mechanism manufactured by Brose. A label identifying the seat height adjustment manufacturer can be found
on the mechanism (Figure 1).

Adjust the seat cushion to the maximum height.

2.

Remove affected seat per WIS document AR91.10-P-1000F.
