DANGER:

Risk of injury to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning from swallowing hydraulic fluid.

Release the pressure in the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety
glasses.

Remove cover of charge air distribution pipe together with cover above power steering pump

Check oil level and correct if necessary

NOTE:

-

Disconnect intake air duct (47) if necessary. 

-

Model 210 without level control: Oil level at an oil temperature of approx. 20 degrees C: between "MIN" and "MAX" mark.

Model 168, 414, observe level mark on dipstick depending on the oil temperature

-

Model 210 with level control: Level control, 4MATIC, ASD, ADS - check and correct fluid level.

If fluid level is too low, locate and rectify the cause

Install cover of charge air distribution pipe together with cover above power steering pump.
