SRS Indicator Lamp On
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the SRS light is illuminated and diagnostic fault code(s) B9223 and/or B9243 are stored
in the SRS ECU, the resistance of the ignition squib circuit for the sidebag may be too high. This high resistance may be caused by a malfunctioning
connector in the driver's seat connector block (X55/3) and/or passenger's seat connector block (X55/4). To resolve, replace the malfunctioning
connectors with a repair kit per the below procedure.
Note:
It is necessary to replace both the driver and passenger side airbag connectors.
1.
Remove ignition key.
2.
Remove front seats, as per WIS document AR91.10-P-1000T.
3.
Position seats on a suitable working surface.
4.
Replace connector, based upon the production dates listed below.
