Remove the shield for the left side steering rack (2 bolts) (Figure 2).

Remove the plastic mount for fastening the high-pressure hose to the left side longitudinal frame member (Figure 3).

5.

Extract fluid from power steering pump supply reservoir. (vehicles without level control).

6.

Clamp off feed line from reservoir (vehicles with level control).

7.

Remove line connection from power steering pump.
