The stowage compartment ventilation nozzle (1) serves for ventilation of the stowage compartment and heating or cooling beverages or similar.

The air supply to the stowage compartment ventilation nozzle (1) can be opened and closed with the shut-off lever (2).

The air temperature corresponds approximately to that of the air exiting from the center nozzle. It cannot be adjusted separately.

The air supplied depends on

-

the position of the blower switch.

-

the position of the air distributions switch.

-

the number of air outlets open.

Rear Ventilation

After ventilation of the passenger compartment, air exits from the vehicle through the rear ventilation.

Louvers in the rear vent open as a result of the pressure from the air flowing through the vehicle allowing it to flow out.

If a vacuum is present in the vehicle due to a window or the sliding roof being open while driving, the louvers close automatically from the force of
gravity. This prevents exhaust gases, dust and moisture from being sucked in.
