Engine - High Oil Consumption

High Oil Consumption

If you encounter instances in the above models of high oil consumption (reference WIS document no. AF18.00-P-8044D), the seal ring (B, Figure 1)
between the intake pipe (A, Figure 1) and the throttle actuator (M16) may require replacement.

Note:

To prevent unnecessary removal, please observe the following WIS documents before proceeding:

AF18.00-P-8044D - High oil consumption.
AR18.00-P-0025AV - Measure oil consumption.

Refer to WIS document no. AR 07.07-P-1454A. To resolve, replace seal (B, Figure 1) between intake pipe (A, Figure 1) and throttle actuator (M16).

Note:

Use new seal according to parts ordering notes. Old seal part no. 112 141 0180 should no longer be used.
