Power Steering Noise
If you encounter instances in the above vehicles within VIN range X032000 up to X077949 of horn-like power steering noises while turning the wheel,
the high-pressure power steering hose should be replaced with a modified hose. In such instances, hydraulic vibrations in the high-pressure power
steering circuit can excite the control valve torsion bar and may cause a horn-like noise while turning the steering wheel. This noise will only occur when
the steering gear is extremely warm.

Remove the rear bottom engine guard (4 screws).
2.
Drill a 8.5 mm diameter hole in the left side longitudinal frame member (Figure 1). Do not drill through any spot welds. (Dimension A = 20 mm
and B = 59 mm). Apply primer to hole.
